What I really loved the most of Like Water For Chocolate is that; dictates a period-piece tale of a unhappy repressed young woman of a extended Mexican dynasty, which took place at the beginning of the 20th century. But also surrounds her forbidden romance with the suitor that they'll be longing for together. Como Agua Para Chocolate is a very beautiful, poigant, passionate and enchanting movie that I really love to see it over again! A great adaption from the novel by Laura Esquevel(the novel is way more better than the screenplay adaption), and I even love more is the deliocious scenes of the recipes and the meals eaten by all the actors; who seem to enjoy it! |
