There were two films that were made about the same time about Wyatt Earp, Wyatt Earp starring Kevin Costner was one, the other and the better one out of the two is of course Tombstone. The story is based on of course the famous Wyatt Earp and the battle at Tombstone, it starts when Wyatt meets up with elder brother Virgil and younger brother Morgan and their wifes to start a new life in Tombstone an up and coming new town. They bump into one of Wyatt's good friends Doc Holliday. But the town is also a favourite haunt for the dreaded Cowboys and danger ensues. This is an amazing film with an amazing cast, but the best thing about this film has to be Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday, he is absolutly fantastic. He is so good that when I made my mum watch this film she decided that he needed mothering and she was volunteering to do it. It is well worth a look and I bet you will wanna watch it again and again and again. |
