Unless you flat out hate Jim Carrey, Ace Ventura is probably one of the funnier movies you'll see. I have wondered how much of Jim Carrey's antics were even scripted. He is simply awesome in this movie.
I thought that the first of the two movies was far better. In the sequel, he often just plays off of his previous memorable sayings such as "La-Who, Za-her" and "Alllrighty then". The sequel is still good for some laughs though, I didn't think it to be a total disaster. |
