Outstanding... realistic...

I've been at Hiroshima learning froma a group pof people of different ages and instructions about side, colateral, psicological, and other efects of A-bomb; and the movie has a extremly close point of view on today's japaneese heads (1993 movie, my visit 1998); the acting from kids was wonderful, and adults heve bit of lack too much on japaneese style on my eye, except grandmother of course. About direction, with a delicious blend on the way of appreciation of oriental and occidental eyes, visuals are awesome, remembering open spaces views and the scene of ants path to scale a tree. An overall? Delicious, makes cry a lot, makes think, makes imagine feelings of people those days, opens mind on the idea of learn from errors and horrors of war |
