I'm not that big on futuristic sci-fi flics, but this one is really well thought out and fun. Action packed from the start this movie depicts a violent-free society set awry when Pheonix (Snipes) is set free from his frozen state. As a result, the police,who are now not equipped to deal with violence set John Spartan (STALLONE:)out of his chryogenic state to take Phenoix down.
Dennis Leary is awesome as a rebel, who heads a group of freedom-loving dwellers, who refuse to obey the NEW laws.
This movie succesfully shows in a light-hearted, action packed way that giving up our rights to achieve security is not a fair trade. |
