An Excellent Stephen King Movie

Obviously this movie is not going to include everything from the novel. This is a two hour movie and the novel is over 500 pages long. If there was a miniseries made out of this novel then the filmmakers might have been able to include a lot more details.
For a two hour adaption, this is extremely good and entertaining. The acting in this movie is excellent too. Ed Harris is an awesome lead actor. Max Von Sydow gives the best performance of the devil I've ever seen. His portrayal even beats Al Pacino's (THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE) and Robert De Nero's (ANGEL HEART).
The main story of this movie is really creative too. Stephen King has a truly unique mind but thankfully, horror fans will constantly benefit from that. I can't wait to see Stephen King's next movie (maybe CELL or FROM A BUICK 8).
Overall, this is a creative and excellent Stephen King tale about the devil coming to town. Recommended for horror fans or anyone who wants a creative and different movie.
