I was VERY disappointed to see the movie open up with a rap song (very, very lame in my opinion), but things quickly picked up from there. If you like Mel Brooks movies, then this certainly won't disappoint. The movie is full of great lines, and Cary Elwes does a marvelous job of reviving the Robin Hood character after Kevin Costner so brutally decimated it in "Prince of Thieves". The casting for Little John and Blinken is spot-on as well. They are truly memorable characters. |
