When a call girl is murdered in a boardroom of a Japanese corporation, an LAPD officer (Wesley Snipes) teams up with a detective (Sean Connery) who has an unusual knowledge of the Japanese culture. The movie is gritty, stylistic and unpredictable at every turn.
