I teach a film class. We've been watching early films of now famous film makers. We finished Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series and students thought they'd seen gore. So, what could I do? I had to bring in Dead Alive (aka Braindead) as the grand finale. I hope to read their reviews soon. I for one am a major fan. The lawnmower scene is forever burned into my brain.
