This film is both hilariously funny and a detailed examination of the human reaction to insignificance. It is soo clever how Phil goes from hating to loving to hating to loving the repitition of his days and how he learns important life lessons of making every day count along the way. Eventually he comes out the other end a more generous and caring man and maybe this was some higher power giving him a chance to be happy in life. Only by accepting his fate and learning to help others is he able to escape from the cyle. Big-up the actors for having to say the same lines in exactly the same way time after time-it really achieves the repetitive, annoying effect required to carry the humour of this film.This is a masterpiece! |
