Everyone and anyone who has ever had a bad day wants to be just like D-Fens - whether they admit it or not.
I mean:
Who doesn't feel like leaving their car right smack in the middle of a traffic jam and walk?
Who doesn't want to smash up a convenience store for charging too much?
Who doesn't want to shoot up a restaurant for being 3 minutes late for their breakfast menu?
My favorite line in the movie (to the Latino gang members accusing D-Fens of sitting on "their" rock): "Maybe if you wrote it in f*cken English, I would be able to f*cken understand it."
Michael Douglas was great as usual. But some of the scenes were just too far-fetched to have on without getting caught. It's a wonder that D-Fens had lived as long as he did. |
