The first two were dark, ambient, and thrilling. This one is more hokey and exploitive.
Through some ill-explained reason, the pillar which trapped the soul of Pinhead is sold to a rich prick who runs a nightclub.
He accidently resurrects the Cenobite with rat blood, and brings him victims so he can take physical form.
Meanwhile, a reporter who witnesses a boy being pulled apart by chains is summoned in dreams by a soldier who is Pinhead's true soul, and the only one who can stop him.
Related to the first two by contriviance, and full of explosions and gore.
Full of stupid dialogue and laughs, as well.
