Basic Instinct was a crazy movie. A little long in my opinion. Could have easily passed for a lifetime movie original (if it didn't have so much graphic SEX). There was a ton of sex, I mistook it for a porn at first. Sharon Stone is GREAT, though. The ending is cool.
Overall, it is a pleasing movie. At first, it can be very very slow, but it wil catch up. I was extremely distracted at how much it resembled Lifetime Movies, but if you can get past it, you might enjoy it because they keep throwing tons of clues and new information at you, so pay attention. Also, as wierd as I felt watching the tons of sex scenes, I think they were necessary to the movie, because after all, Sharon Stone was like the ultimate seductress in this movie and she had to show it, and showed it she did!!! |
