O.K.
So this movie really sucks as far as acting.
So the story sucks.
So what.
How many horror films or sequels for that matter really match or surpass the original?
Barely any and I have to admitt that Omen IV:The Awakening is the bad apple in the bunch, in fact the rotten apple considering that aside from this piece of dung, The Omen series seemed to hold it's own with three great and on the track movies.
However, it's not the fact that this movie sucked because not many horror movies are any good anyway.
It's not that the acting sucked because lets face it, Robert Deniro probley had no interest in this movie and the producers had to hire 3rd rate actors to get the job done.
What really gets me is these people (Especially the young ones) who have this mentality that a horror movie should be as clever as The Exorcist with great Acting to boot.
They go through these artistic stages or take a semester of some class revolving around some art junkies obsession and say crap like Killer Klowns From Outer Space had bad acting or a Korny story and folk music is cool.
My answer, See this movie for yourself, try watching it on surround sound and you might jump a few times.
If you want gore it gots that too but overall,
It's all the same crap that just about every other dumb horror has to offer.
You want creative?
See House of 1000 Corpses.
