I was in the mood for a Ocean Eleven flick and found this 1969 original version of The Italian Job and rented it.
Yes it's a 1970's style slow long drawn out scenes, but that is how movies were shot then. Michael Cain did a good job mixing 70's humor and the seriousness of a gang leader.
Overall it's a great rainy day old movie. If your like fast action and flashy cut editing, then pass on this original version. However if you enjoy the look, feel, and style of 70's action humor flicks, try this one!
