An absolute delight!!! A very beautifully made movie covering the aspects of cultural differences that result from the confusion which immigrants experience when they find themselves in a completely different geographic, social, and economic setting. It also shows how it is easier for younger, open minded individuals to adjust to newer environment and settings in contrast to more experienced people. It also shows how pre conceived notions cause us to be prejudiced against certain groups of people without an effort on our part to assess if the pre-conceived notions have any truth at all. As in most cases, they are baseless, which the movie does well to point out. A MASTERPIECE!!! |
