So I bought this movie in the cheap bin because it had Keanu Reeves so I thought it can't be that bad because his movies are at worst average.
So after 30 minutes, this movie is about 2 teenage gigolos living in the streets getting bought by old ladies and old men. And then it's a downward spiral of homosexuality at its worst & overall pretty pointless until the character Bob comes along. So it seems Bob is a street bum that all the kids look up to but he is really nothing more than a winnow & his speeches are really out of this world in reality. Bums don't talk like that.
So this movie does not inspire human struggle like Slumdog is suppose to, I don't know if its about being gay but the Keanue Reeves character seem to me like someone who just wants to waste away.
I guess, looking back...maybe Keanu Reeves will say...I had to make this one to buy bread because this was all it is. An ends meet movie. |
