Though this movie is predictable, it's nice to watch on a rainy afternoon.
I think what charms me the most is the warmth of the characters. The entire cast's personalities are fairly oozing from the screen as they show us that life CAN be as simple as it seems in this movie.
I love David Ogden Stiers as the Mayor and his gift of turning a phrase, i.e. "Aren't you so nice to say so." and "I couldn't be any happier if I were twins."
A definite see for anyone who wants to just relax with a movie that doesn't require much thought, but has lots of charisma. |
