Very good drama and action

A story about a family of firefighters (father and then the sons), and of the fraternity of firefighters also. Russell's acting was outstanding, as was De Niro in the significant supporting role of Shadow. The action sequences revolve around fire and are above par, as is the FX. Although obviously taken to the extreme, the happenings in the movie are believable. Not a firefighter myself, I've asked many firemen how they felt about the movie: '..the story of my life..,' and '.. way too hyped..,' and '..I can't talk about it..' were the most memorable responses. |
