Love touches the Heart of Family

I thought this was a sweet,heartwarming film.Holly Hunter plays Renata. When she meets Sam(Dreyfuss),her world does a flip-flop. Danny Aiello plays Joe Bella,a Catholic who flips when daughter Renata wants to marry this "new boy in town".
Joe and Sam have different views and opinions on Life,the major ones being about Religion. In time, Renata has a baby; How would the child be raised? Another fight ensues, over family and religious beliefs.
My favorite scene is the ending,when Sam does not want to let Renata see him slip away.It was heart-wrenching and moving to see him on the chair with his child.I applaud the actors, and say Bravo for an awesome performance! |
