One of Jackie's better films

Jackie Chan's famed Hong Kong action film Police Story is by no means perfect but one definitely has to say its fun to watch. After a drug raid goes awry, a rising officer must uncover the truth and battle not only the raids but the corruption in the force as well. Alongside that, he must keep up his relationship with his girlfriend and keep a witness in protection safe. This is one of the rare films where Jackie is perfectly balanced in the means of blending action and comedy. It is indefinitely cliched and full of predictablity but still worthwhile for any fan of foriegn action films or just Jackie Chan in general. |
