Australian motion picture director Peter Lindsay Weir went with a lighter tone, in comparison to his previous work of Gallipoli or even Witness. He is right now reaping rewards of enormous propotions with Master And Commander, that’s tipped for leading oscar nominations. A cast with little blockbuster appeal to the American audience, Weir was driven by a well balanced script. Actress Andie MacDowell how is known for slow tempoed comedies, came nice to her traits. Veteran French actor Gerard Depardieu who is known for his complexity in roles was fully charged into character, he was both outstanding and dramatic in a comedy of satirical values. |
