'Edward Scissorhands' is a fantastic film. Tim Burton creates a dream-like world with the recluse Edward living in his castle. He is brought down from the hill to the suburbs and, it starts out well, but trouble arises. Johnny Depp gives a brilliant performance, as always. Good supporting cast including Winona Ryder, Alan Arkin and Vincent Price. A beautiful film score by Danny Elfman adds to the mystical experience. You'll smile, you'll cry... 'Edward Scissorhands'
is a touching, unforgettable triumph. |
