Probably! This film set the bar extremely high for Aussie film makers and put Hollywood on notice, that Australian cinema was an artistic force burgeoning with raw talent from the director to the lowliest extra.
Filled with high drama, this iconic tour de force will keep you on the edge of your seat, and make you laugh out loud, sob dejectedly, shriek in terror, and cry out in triumphant jublilation in equal measure. Cut from the same cloth as the Pianist and The Passion this film has forever changed the face of western culture! |
