One of the best comedy/romance/karmic drama movies ever! I enjoyed this film immensely when it first came out in the theatre and ended up buying it years later. Patrick S. and Demi M. have an incredible chemistry and Whoopi almost steals the show as a phony psychic who is horrified when she discovers she can actually communicate with the other side in the middle of scamming a client during a phony seance. You will find yourself alternately laughing hilariously, crying at the tenderness of the love scenes (the clay pottery wheel is still one of the hottest love scenes ever!)and amazed that everyone in this film didn't win an Oscar. This is one of the
most believeable and moving roles Demi and Patrick ever performed...a number one chick flick for sure!! :) Definitely enjoyable again and again! |
