Life in a small western town is smartly portayed with excellent performances in The Last Picture Show. Timothy Bottoms as Sonny stands out in particular as a high school senior experiencing boredom and confusion with the limited choices available in his tiny Texas town. Many deep and accurate chaacter portrayals make this a classic worth viewing again. |
