A landlords nightmare turns to reality, as veteran director John Schlesinger gives you a over dose of suspense. No name actress Melaine Griffith decides to stop sniffing cocaine, to deliver a performance only the master Schlesinger can orchestrate. Eighties hunk Matthew Modine nicely leads, from a otherwise career fading faster than the light of day. Michael Keaton has proved many times over that he can over come the stereotypical image of a costume trotting comic super hero. Schlesinger soothes the pace, to give fright to a climatic ending to many thrills of terror. |
