Bizarre twist and bad camera flatlines Flatliners

Flatliners takes a disturbingly brilliant premise with the perfect man for the job, Kiefer Sutherland, and sadly turns it into a disorienting outrageous supernatural thriller. When a group of medical students begin to try the idea of "Flatlining", temporarily dying for only a few minutes, they soon see they're in for far more then they bargained for. People they wronged from the past are haunting them, and it's up to them to try and set it all straight. Flatliners could've been a brilliant and intense medical drama, if not for the dumb supernatural twists. Billy Baldwin destroys yet another movie with his lousy acting and the rest of the cast is hit or miss. If looking for an intense medical drama watch Coma but be sure to flatline Flatliners. |
