It was heralded as the next Scarface or Godfather...HA! This film isn't even in the same league as True Romance. Thats not saying that all is bad here. The two stars, Washington and Crowe, are, as always, are on top of their game, and if potential was one of my choices to rate, I would, without blinking, rate this film an A+. Unfortunately that potential turned more into Ryan Leaf cinema than Peyton cinema. |
