Great concept, weak transmigration...

This movie really was looking promising early on. The whole idea of a killer lamp really struck a nerve with me, since I once too was almost killed by a lamp. So, as you might expect, I was horrified by the premise. However, weak direction really stole the spotlight from the main component of the movie. If there would've been more lamp action, like fighting scenes with the lamp, or the lamp trying to "seduce" more convincingly, then I think this would've been an A+. There is one scene in particular where I expected the lamp to swing through the window on a ninja rope, but it never happened, and it really ruined the whole atmosphere from then on. See this movie, love the lamp, hate the direction...
P.S.- got to "www.petition for lamps in the ****.com to sign a petition for a new title for this movie, simply "LAMP."
