An excellent production of Chaucer's epic poem of pilgrims on their way to Becket's holy shrine in medieval times.The film is set in comtemporary times and is a tale of WWII soldiers and their maneuvers in the hilly terrain surrounding the town of Canterbury and the search for "glue"man. Interesting to see in B/W of English country-side and mannerisms. |
