This movie, set in the trenches of 1916 France, is one the best movies I've been lucky enough to see. Starring Kirk Douglas as a French Colonel, who has high principles in the world of hypocritical morality. It delivers a powerful message, satirizing war and army politics, as well as showing great insight into human nature when the three soldiers are put to death. |
