Put plainly, this movie was painfully bad. The only way I can imagine someone liking it would be if that person had lingering effects from a decade-long trip in the 70's. Please don't look to this movie for content. I don't think roller skates would be a goddess' preferred means of transportation.
Musically, I think this movie is great because I love ELO & like Olivia Newton-John. However, the plot was terrible. To see the talented Gene Kelly reduced to a role like this is just sad.
Do yourself a favor and don't go any further than the soundtrack. |
