An African American Experience

In my humble opinion, I feel that this film showcased the talents of several hollywood greats. The musical talents of Quincy Jones, vocal talents of Diana Ross, the fancy footwork of Michael Jackson, the dramatic acting of Nipsy Russell, the theatrical abilities of Ted Ross, the comical tongue of Richard Pryor, and the very talented directing of Mr. Sidney Lumet. Oh, and how could one forget the graceful presence of the ever beautiful Ms. Lena Horne. Although the original Wizard of Oz took us over the rainbow to an imaginary world, The Wiz was a little more realistic for us. |
