This movie flabbergasts me--look up that word, its pretty cool. I love 50's Movies, and I saw this movie on TV. I looked it up on Yahoo! movies before I watched it and I read reviews that this movie was great--that it was an A- movie. I read some of the reviews that people who didn't like movies like this loved this one. I thought nothing much of the reviews, but man! When I saw it, well, the beginning was sort of interesting, this movie is almost exactly like "Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens. It was phenomenal in its time just like this movie. But as time went on, people disliked it more like I do. This movie I think will be the same. Now its great, but in a hundred years, probably few people will like it. The two stories are both from England, and both about criminal charges having a sentence of death. They are both pretty boring in the beginning, but the endings are remarkable. They are radical. But both of their endings are completly different. Anyone who have watched the movie and the book would understand. The good thing is that the movie is only two hours--the book is two months! |
