The story is as flat as a couple of pages torn from a diary, it only features a small group of actors, and there are no visual effects at all. This only goes to prove that it takes very little to make a fantastic flim!
The acting out of the full bodied characters is of very high standard, with the best ever on screen drunk being played by the apparently teetotal Richard. E. Grant. The dialogue is the best you can possibly get with it's bitter-sweet, hilariously anxious quality.
My favourite film of all time.
