Hello, Mr. Gibbs. Considering when it was filmed, it's pretty good. I remember seeing it when it first hit the theaters. It was exciting and scary. I thought it could really happen. Now, looking back, it's funny to see the phone modems and the big 8-inch floppy disks. Then ending is still exciting with all the war games being displayed on the big screens, war after war after war. Also, the message is eternal. War is a game without winners. I guess the movie didn't get seen by enough people, because we as a country still don't know that.
I give the movie an A for being the first computer-based movie with popular appeal and a strong theme. |
