They don't make movies like this one, anymore, mostly because someone is afraid of offending someone else. Case in point, check out the latest version of Walking Tall starring The Rock. That movie is so bad it makes me want to vomit.
This original Walking Tall flick starring Joe Don Baker is the best one of any of the sequels. Based on the real life story of Sheriff Buford Pusser in Western Tennessee, This movie follows the prototype of Truth Justice and The American Way. Through this movie, Sheriff Pusser has become an American Icon and legend. He stood tall and fought crime with a kick-ass and take names later philosophy. I've watched this movie at least ten times and will likely watch it another ten. |
