Most people are not intelligent enough to appreciate this movie. Rachel is only a figment of his imagination. Remember the scene whene he is serving her tea in the beginning and there is no one there? He is a hypomanic that went manic.
In his frustration to find a freak like him he finally just relented and invented a freak. It takes a freak to appreciate this movie. Hypomanics are very lonely people. No one understands them, me included. ;) |
