Ok, by today's standards this film can't match up, but lets put it in its context. Tron is one of the most ground-breaking films in terms of special effects and story. My hat goes off to Disney for taking on such an experinmental project in the first place.
Although other films have since surpassed it in quality, Tron will remain for me a point of inspiration in terms of creativity and innovation.
