This movie stars Humphrey Bogart and Walter Huston in this movie about GREED! 2 drifters(Bogart and Tim Holt) come across a old prospector (Huston) and decide to join forces to find gold. The old man shows them the way and gives them pointers about how to find the gold. As they find success, problems arise. Bogart and Holt begin not trust each other. As the Notorious B.I.G. song goes "Mo Money Mo problems". (comparing Biggie and a 19490's film...there's a first) Bogart begins to let his mind wonder and becomes very irrational. Bogarts performance was absolutely remarkable.
The moral of the story is be happy with your success but get greedy and get nothing! |
