When two tycoons make a bet between a ghetto street hustler named Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy) and spoiled rich boy Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Akyroyd), they're lives change in an instant. Valentine gets the good life while Winthorpe gets tossed out on to the streets, and befriends a prostitute (Jamie Lee Curtis) who takes him in. When the two men learn of the tycoons' plan, they form a unique friendship and realize that their lives won't be altered. Another Eddie Murphy film that is everything but a flaw. |
