A much underrated classic

When you start comparing Torn Curtain to other Hitchcock masterpieces such as psycho or Rear Window, it is no ownder why this film has been almost blacklisted since it's release. But when you look at the movie alone, it truely is a forgotten classic. It isn't Hitchcocks best work, but it is in no way a bad film. On the contrary, it is more than well worth watching. Torn Curtain is in essence an international tale of mystery and intrigue. Paul newman and Julkie Andrews give solid performances of this cold war thriller. Just as any movie, it may take a few minutes to get going, but at some point, you will find yourself caught up in the events that are transpiring before you. You may not like it in the end, or it may become a movie you will want to watch again and again. Either way, its well worth checking out sometime.

By the way, you may want to actually watch the movie, tarek_delgadodib. It does help before reviewing.
