This is a story about an actor Michael Dorsey who cannot find work acting due to being difficult to work with.Michael Dorsey changes his gender to become Dorthy Michaels play brillantly by Dustin Hoffman.Life gets more complex and funny after he becomes Dorothy.Michael falls in love with Julie Nichols play by Jessica Lange.Julie father Les Nichols play by Charles Durning wants to marry Dorothy Michaels.The entire cast does a wonderful job of acting.Sydney Pollack does a wonderful job of directing this comedy.This film displays some of the great versatility of Dustin Hoffman and why he is such a good actor. |
