This is one of the best comedies I've ever seen. No matter how many times I see it I laugh through the entire film. Dustin Hoffman shines in his role and completely brings to life his character Dorothy Michaels. To be honest, he makes a pretty good woman, perhaps not the prettiest but not ugly either. This is one of the films that really balances all the aspects of a film: acting, story, humor, emotion, etc. The weakest part is probably the story, but you don't notice the flaws because everything else makes it so good you can't help but enjoy the movie. I don't think any other guy makes a better woman than Hoffman. This is one of my favorite comedies and I'm sure will last through the ages. |
