Good movie, though the student film is better!

THX 1138 borrows heavily from George Orwell's 1984 and especially Ayn Rand's Anthem to create a moving, if admittedly slow at times, experience. It's a solid, well-acted film that deserves more attention.
But the student version that Lucas did first is a better work. It's more concise and more poignant. A masterpiece.
Thankfully, both will be on the DVD! |
