Notice that I gave the acting a D-. I did this out of love. If ever there was a camp classic, one-liner filled drinking game, this one is it!!!
Could this movie BE any more unintentionally funny? Anne Baxter is the worst (best) offender, followed closely by the histronics of Yul Brynner. How Charlton Heston (he is excellent, actually) can keep a straight face when dealing with either one of these easter hams is beyond me! And Yvonne DeCarlo (IE: Lily Munster) is a HOOT!!! I love this delicious slice of Biblical Hollywood...it is eternally watchable from the first frame to the last! |
