Well you can't really think about the movies of the 80s and not think of this one. At least I can't. I really don't know why I like this movie, but God help me, I do. When I see it now, I think to myself "what were we thinking?". But it is fun to see it and it always takes me back to when I was a teenager. Robin Lively plays a 16 year-old witch. Only she doesn't find out she's a witch until around her 16th birthday when the lady that plays the pyschic in "Poltergeist" tells her. She then begins to learn how to cast spells and hilarity ensues. (Just kidding!) She has a crush on a totally hot hunk but how can she get him without being the most popular girl? Thank goodness for witchcraft to conjure up some popularity! But, alas! Does he like her because of her or does he like her because of the spell? You'll just have to watch the movie to find out! |
