OMG! I saw this movie last night and it was so touching. I read the book a while back and I have to say, I think I liked the movie better than the book. Sally Field portrayed Sybil incredibly well and Joanne Woodward wasn't so bad herself. When it was done I cried so much. I couldn't believe how one person could go through so much pain. I recommend that you give this movie a chance. You definately won't regret it. Oh yeah, the movie is like 4h 30min so you better make lots of popcorn! P.S: Sybil was really Shirley Ardell Mason who passed away in 1998(not 1989) at the age of 75. |
