This story is very compelling becouse it deals with a great human desire that of freedom.Many people throught history have fought and die for it.It is also a love story.The acting is outstanding from the entire cast.The acting by Kirk Douglas and Jean Simmons are especially good.The directing is also great becouse there large battle scenes as well intimate scenes.The costumes,music,and building take you back to the time of The Roman Republic First Century B.C.Overall this film is oustanding becouse it deals with two great human desires freedom and love. |
